A heart for peace..and smiles for ever
A Heart for Peace, is a real humanistic step standing beyond every prejudice. The goal is to allow fifty more children with lifethreatening congenital cardiomyopathies to be operated on. To reach this objective, "A heart for Peace" commits itself to cofinance with Hadassah Hospital heart surgeries; .
The minimal cost for one intervention is about 12000 euros, 6000 of them at least being paid by Hadassah. Few months after "A Heart for Peace" was formed, we were able to gather the fundings for 29 heart surgeries.
« "It is fabulous to hear a palestinian child's mother telling her child has been saved by Israel". ». Because at Hadassah Hospital patients are taken carewithout difference based upon origin, race or religion by Israeli and palestinian physicians.
